1. Why can we not pat ourselves on the back for making the good decision to accept Jesus as our savior?
2. How does knowing that God makes decisions based on eternity affect how we think about our lives?
3. Why do you think Mary’s first response was “Who Me?”
What other Biblical characters responded this way?
4. Why does God choose to use us as His tools to get His will done?
5. How is God glorified through us doing His will?
6. What are some of God’s Promises to us? How might it be hard to believe those promises?
7. Could it have seemed to Mary that all the pieces are not coming together the way I thought they would with God in control? What might she have questioned?
8. This Christmas how can we keep an eternal perspective in mind?
