Text Eph. 3:14-16
1. What is the difference between being filled with God or just flavored by His presence?
2. Is God’s presence in your life the “main ingredient” or is He just another flavor in your life?
3. How are you using God’s power in your life to bring glory to Him?
4. Instead of praying for external issues in our lives what would prayers for internal issues be like? What kinds of things can we pray for but don’t?
5. Read Eph. 3:14-16 What stands out for you in Paul’s prayer?
6. Why can we approach God’s throne with confidence and present our requests? (see Hebrews 4:14-16)
7. What are some of the benefits you’ve seen in your relationship with Christ as you’ve walked with him longer? Are there ways in which you depend on him now more than when you first trusted Christ?
8. What are some ways that we can make Christ more at home in our hearts? To make room for him to “settle down” in our lives? Are there rooms within the home of your heart where Christ is not welcome? Places that are off-limits to God?
9. What are some specific ways we can increasingly make God the “main ingredient” in our lives?
