Proclaiming or Possessing– Pastor Perry Kallis – 5/15/2011
Text Eph. 3:16-21 - Small Group Discussion Questions

1. How can we make our lives smell good to those around us? How can we smell more like Jesus? (referring to house aromas, check out 2 Cor. 2:15-16)

2. How are you feeling about your Christian Race? What is the motivation to run the race well?

3. What is the difference between a renter and an owner? What does it mean to be owned by Jesus?

4. What kinds of things do you tend to ask for in prayer?

5. What are some things you ought to start praying about that you currently don’t?

6. What are some examples of “help me” prayers and “cause me” prayers?

7. How can you be more filled with God? What are some steps you could take to “fill your bucket” with more of him?

8. What are some symptoms of “longing for a bigger bucket” rather than being content with the bucket you have?

9. What kinds of ways are you tempted to look for satisfaction outside of God’s unconditional love? How can we re-focus on finding our satisfaction in God’s love instead of other places?

10. What are some ways in which God can be lifted up (glorified) through your work? Through your family life? Through your participation in the Body of Christ?

11. What are some areas of your life where you’d like to see God’s power brought to bear? Keep a list of these for your prayer time.
